Dr. Lowry significantly advanced the use of MR as a preferred diagnostic modality for a variety of pathologies and organ systems. He led the development of the MR and neuroradiology practice at X-Ray Associates of New Mexico's outpatient imaging centers. He counts among his other accomplishments the Past Presidency of the New Mexico Society of Radiologists, Past President of the Combined Medical Staff at St. Joseph Healthcare Systems Hospitals, and Past President of X-Ray Associates of New Mexico.
